Towneley Heritage and Woodland

Last
week we were at Heywood Show we were surronded by a 1940s
re-enactment group in all sorts of military garb
including French Resistance, American Army, RAF, British Army and
various civilians. At Towneley we had the Sealed Knots doing
an English Civil War re-enactment.
This was a joint show with the West Riding Woodcarvers from
Huddersfield so we had twice as much to show.
It was all woodcarving but there was a wider than normal
range of styles.
