Found Wood Workshop lead by John Adamson

This year's club project is a found wood carving and this was the second workshop on the subject.      John Adamson talked in general about the problems of working with found wood: that the pictures you could find did not match the wood you had, and that there was often nowhere that made a reasonable base.    He suggested some solutions that had worked for some of  his many found wood projects.

The real fun started when we got down to looking at the work the members had produced to date.     It was inspiring in its breadth of subjects and the magnificent way the original shape of the wood had been utilized.    The most amazing was Ken Speakman's howling monkey.    We all congratulated him on the work
