The aim of the workshop was to help members design a carving for a club project in Towneley Park, Burnley where we have been asked to carve 5 picnic benches. The criteria were to have a general theme of nature, to fit on the size of wood to be supplied and to be carvable in one day. Members chose leaves, animals and plants.
